MEHDUDIA’s are believed to have belonged to Mehdudgarh (near Jejoon on Himachal and Punjab boarder) from where it is said and believed that they migrated to different parts of the country after a severe famine(drought) had struck. It is also said that while migrating  they donated all they had left to their purohits.

Our gotr is Goel/ Govil. We Mehdudia’s date back thousands of years as any other clan. This website is an effort to provide a common platform to all members of the community.
